Where do I go for help?
Sometimes we need a bigger picture. We want to know more.
For more than 28 years, Lupus International has been a trusted "first stop" for lupus patients and their families. Our literature covers a wide array of topics and information from medical professionals across the country. We have an excellent working relationship with many of the leading rheumatologists and top experts in the medical profession that help us continue our quest to educate those in need of information on lupus and related diseases.
Perhaps, the most all encompassing resource we offer is our Portraits of Success book that introduces you to people with lupus from all walks of life. Each section will show you their tricks to succeeding, how the featured people handle the ups and downs of lupus, and the importance of educating yourself on the disease as best you can. It also includes a useful medical section written by leading lupus specialists here in Los Angeles, California, USA.
As you browse our Website you will also find numerous links to respected organizations whose materials and articles may relate to your particular symptoms and issues. These include NIAMS, the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, or NIH, the National Institute of Health. We might want to know more about how disability support works by tapping into SSA, the Social Security Administration.
So, take your time and look around. If you don't find the answers or info you're looking for send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
and we'll help you on your quest for knowledge.
